History of TLS Geothermics

In 2012, Mathieu Auxiètre, working in Green-Tech finance, questioned his father about the viability of Geothermal Energy in France. His father, with 35 years of expertise in oil exploration at Total, reflected positively and agreed to co-found TLS Geothermics.

Over the coming decade, TLS has been in a constant state of evolution. Welcoming new geoscientists and data wizards in 2017, they began developing Big Data exploration tools, simultaneously pioneering innovative technologies, de-risking drilling, and crafting a unique portfolio approach.

2018 launched the development of a 6MWe geothermal power plant in partnership with Storengy in France.

2019 was marked by the development of JiPass 3D, a geophysical joint inversion digital tool.

2021 brought the creation of our subsidiaries in the USA and Germany.

2022-23 brought further funding, leading to team expansion internationally and 4 projects in the western U.S.A.
