TLS GEOTHERMICS, ENGIE Solutions France and STORENGY have been named winners of the Call for Expressions of Interest launched by the partners of the Territorial Energy Management Program for the development of geothermal energy in Martinique.

For the first time in overseas France, geothermal energy will be used to supply a cooling network for buildings located in the Fort de France area.

TLS Geothermics and Storengy will be in charge of the underground study while Engie Solutions will provide the expertise of the hot/cold distribution networks.

This project is an additional opportunity to demonstrate the interest and relevance of geothermal energy in the energy mix, as it is the only renewable energy capable of producing heat, cold and electricity from a natural resource, without CO2 emissions during operation.
